The mission of JCP Inclusion is to partner with JCP portfolio companies to help nurture cultures that celebrate and honor the strength of diversity and belonging.  As JCP Inclusion, we understand the commitment to valuing and respecting each person’s differences, and that it is imperative for our success, now and in the future. 

This means creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, and encouraging engagement in our companies, our partners, and the communities we serve.

We realize everyone has a role to play and is free to determine their own path.  For some, it may be through conversation, some through education, and some through real-life experiences.  Whatever way that is chosen, we support, respect and value each person’s journey.

How can I become involved in JCP Inclusion?

That’s a great question. As Bo Young Lee, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of Uber, said “Diversity & Inclusion needs to be something that every single team member has a stake in” which JCP firmly believes. 

Every day each one of us should be working to make our own workplaces environments where people feel accepted and supported for who they are. Also, many companies have someone within the organization who is responsible for driving the diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Asking that person, how you can help is another way you can become involved in this important work at your own workplace. 

As for JCP Inclusion, if you have a teammate you would like to recommend, or if you would like to be considered for the expanding JCP Inclusion team, please send us an email. We’ll let you know where we are in our growth and how you can help. 

What if I have an issue at my company around diversity, equality and inclusion?

JCP Inclusion is not meant to substitute for problem-solving around these important issues at your company. If you have a question or concern, please bring that to your manager or company’s HR professional. If neither is an option, please seek out the next appropriate person in your company’s management structure.

Can I submit an article, video, talk or podcast to be included as a resource?

Of course! We welcome submissions from everyone. Please complete the form below and make sure your submission – whether an article, video, talk or podcast – clearly fits into at least one of these categories: Empowering Women in the Work Place, Creating Diverse & Inclusive Work Places, Performance & Innovation, or Stepping Up: Tools to Get Ahead.
